As the year comes to a close, it’s the perfect time to reflect on the lessons learned and how to apply them for a better future. 2025 was a year filled with challenges, growth, and personal experiences that helped shape the upcoming year.

Lessons learned this year. 2025 was a year of reflection and growth. From a two-month road trip to the shifting real estate market, there were many valuable lessons. It taught me how important it is to slow down, take time for personal growth, and not rush through life.

It also highlighted the need for clear communication in the real estate industry, especially when facing setbacks and challenges. These lessons are helping me move forward with greater clarity and energy for 2026.

Challenges and wins in the real estate market. The Palm Beach real estate market shifted this year, with buyers becoming more cautious and sellers holding out for higher prices. Many people opted to rent rather than sell, which slowed the market. Despite these challenges, I had some great wins, especially in rentals, which made up 75% of my business this year.

The key takeaway? Rentals today can lead to future buyers, as people often use them to test the lifestyle before committing to a home.

Preparing for 2026 and beyond. As we head into 2026, exciting opportunities await. The real estate market is evolving fast, and new developments are creating more chances for both buyers and sellers. With expected growth and a 14% rise in home sales, 2026 is shaping up to be a promising year.
